Leica's GST20-9 Professional 5000 Series top-grade wood extension leg tripod is particularly suited to high-accuracy instruments of 3" or better. Thumb screw clamps.
It has excellent height stability, maximum torsional rigidity and minimal horizontal drift over long time periods. Due to the vibration dampening characteristics of the carefully selected beech wood, this tripod is highly recommended for use with motorized total stations.
The three Leica Professional Grade wood extension-leg tripods are all similar with the following differences:
GST-20: velcro strap to close feet during transportation, includes tool kit with plumb bob, string, and wrench to adjust tripod
GST20-9: velcro strap to close feet during transportation, no tool kit
GST120-9: self-closing interlocking feet
for transportation, no tool kit
