The Northwest NRL802 Horizontal/Vertical Self-Leveling Laser is a general purpose Interior/Exterior Laser Level equipped with a vertical laser plummet (zenith).
This package, which includes a laser detector, remote control, wall mount/ceiling bracket, laser glasses, and grid target, makes the NRL802 suitable for both interior AND exterior work.
The NRL802 is equipped with electric servo motors and automatic tilt sensors to ensure accuracy in both horizontal and vertical leveling. The NRL800 is equipped with high-performance tilt sensors and Servo Motors that provide accurate and consistent leveling in both horizontal and vertical directions. Just set up the instrument within a wide range of +/- 5° and the Servo Motors will level the instrument to with 1/16" @ 100 ft (horizontal) and 1/8" @ 100 ft (vertical) in seconds...it's that simple! The laser can be put in manual mode and a slope of up to +/- 5° can be set (single axis) for sloping and drainage projects.
The Northwest NRL802 is equipped with two laser beams: the rotating horizontal beam, and a vertical plummet beam (zenith) for alignment. The plummet beam is most useful as an alignment aid when the laser is operating in the vertical position.
Great indoor features include the option to perform a wide sweep, narrow sweep, and generate a laser chalk line for squaring and reference lines. A steel wall mount is included allowing you to mount the laser to walls, studs or other fixed objects. A remote control is included which is extremely handy for controlling the laser when mounted to the wall mount for recessed ceiling work.
Great outdoor features include a heavy-duty glass enclosed beacon and durable sealed housing making the laser water and dust resistant (IP-54) ensuring years of dependable operation.
A Northwest NLD5G laser detector is included and works with ALL rotating lasers (visible and invisible) sold today (excluding green beam). It is ideal for working with lasers in bright light and over long distances. It has a working range up to 1000 ft (depends on the laser) and can be held by hand or rod mounted with the adjustable rod clamp (included) that fits most leveling rods up to 2-1/2" wide. It features dual front/back LCD displays and has easy-to-see arrows that can be read indoors or outdoors indicating the position of the detector in the plane of laser light. The NLD5G has three volume tones (high, on-grade, and low) with two volume settings (off and on loud). With the press of a button, the user can choose between an accuracy of +/-1/16" (fine mode) and +/-1/8" (coarse mode). The rugged plastic housing is gasket sealed for waterproof protection (IPX-4) and one 9-volt battery provides up to three months of normal use.
